An early study of ASP2998, an experimental antibody drug carrying a cancer-killing payload and an immune activator. It is recruiting people with advanced solid tumors for treatment alone or with tumor-specific standard therapies.
NCT07287995 evaluates the TROP2-directed dual-payload ADC ASP2998 alone and in tumor-specific combinations with pembrolizumab, enfortumab vedotin or carboplatin. ASP2998 carries a TOP1 inhibitor and a STING agonist. The registry last posted 2 September 2026 lists recruiting status, actual start on 5 February 2026, estimated enrollment of 428 and estimated primary completion on 30 June 2029. The earlier ASCO 2026 trial-in-progress abstract planned 196 participants; neither figure is a treated-patient count. No results are posted. The trial includes urothelial, non-small-cell lung, gastric/gastroesophageal junction and HER2-negative breast cancer cohorts. Prior TROP2, STING or TOP1 therapy permissions differ by cohort; the current protocol, rather than the older trial-in-progress abstract, determines eligibility. This is advanced disease research, not established adjuvant treatment.
The full inclusion and exclusion criteria are on the registry record. Read 2026-10-07. Recruiting overall does not mean a particular site is open; ask the study team.
