ValproIc Acid to Potentiate Anti-EGFR Treatment Efficacy and Prevent/Revert Resistance in Colorectal Cancer is a phase 2, randomised interventional study registered as NCT06714357 by National Cancer Institute, Naples, with a registry enrolment figure of 130 participants, started 2025-03-12 and due to reach its primary completion in 2026-12-20. Interventions recorded: irinotecan; panitumumab; Valproic Acid (VPA). Conditions listed: Colorectal Cancer Metastatic. Primary outcome: Study Part 1 - Progression Free Survival rate at 16 weeks in the two arms.. Colorectal eligibility wording from the registry: "Histologically proven of colorectal adenocarcinoma".
